Insects, often linked with fear and discomfort, evoke a visceral response similar to the way trauma lingers in a survivor's mind. Sexual violence usually leaves a profound, silencing impact on survivors, affecting their lives far beyond the assault itself.

The Interwoven Project offers a space to pay homage to victims of sexual violence, allowing them to share their experiences and lighten the burden of trauma anonymously. The 36 handcrafted insects symbolize individual stories, and through this project, each voice is honoured, reminding us that every experience deserves space, recognition, and empathy.
